How do I activate a Goodspeed 4G Mobile Hotspot?
Sign into your account at goodspeed.io. Click the Activate Device tab. Follow the instructions on the page to go through with the activation process. You'll see a confirmation "Activated" on the device display once the activation code has been accepted.
I feel I'm consuming a lot of data when connected to Goodspeed 4G Mobile Hotspot. What should I do?
Goodspeed 4G Mobile Hotspot connection is treated as a Wi-Fi connection. Many mobile devices are set to start system updates and application updates when the device is connected to a Wi-Fi network. To avoid the data consumption due to unnecessary updates, please check your mobile device settings to disable automatic updates before using the Goodspeed connection.
Why does my connection turn off sometimes when I use the service through my Goodspeed 4G Mobile Hotspot?
To save battery, your Goodspeed 4G Mobile Hotspot will enter Wi-Fi sleep mode after 10 minutes of inactivity. Push any button to restore the connection. In case you want to adjust the sleep mode time, use your browser to login to your hotspot’s advanced settings at http://192.168.0.1
I’m at my destination and can’t get online with the Goodspeed 4G Mobile Hotspot. What should I do?
Please check that the country you're currently in is included in your service and that the destination is active in your Goodspeed 4G Mobile Hotspot. Please sign in to your account and check the status of the destination. If the problem persists, please contact the Goodspeed Support Team.
I’m using Goodspeed service through the Goodspeed 4G Mobile Hotspot. Can I add other SIM cards that are not provided by Goodspeed?
With the Traveller plan, you can add one personal SIM card to use with your Goodspeed device. The personal SIM card must correspond to your country of residence, determined by the address you provide when creating your Goodspeed account. With the Business plan the number of personal SIM cards is unlimited.
Why do I need to allow permissions in order to use Goodspeed GO?
In order to establish the local connection and offer a day pass, Goodspeed GO uses your phone's ability to automatically call for the local network.
When using Goodspeed service on the Goodspeed GO app, why are day passes not available when I’m in my home country?
In your home country, your home carrier’s data plan is preferred.
